When I´m Gone

A "warm welcome home" für 3 Musiker aus Ennis im County Clare, die nach Jahren in den USA in ihre Heimatstadt zurückkehren. Dies zeigt wie eng die Menschen in Irland mit den mehr als 70 Millionen in der irischen Diaspora verbunden sind.

Keine traditionelle irische Musik sondern ein Protestsong von Phil Ochs aus dem Jahre 1966. In dieser Aufnahme wird deutlich, welch lebendiger Austausch mit anderen Musikkulturen dort stattfindet.
